The frames that exploit more blocks of heddles, in fact, allow the realization of reinforcements - not only with motifs - but softer and, having the combs with steel teeth, the reductions in the warp can also be very high to obtain light fabrics and thin. But naturally the 4 and 8 heddle fabrics can also be used forfurniturefor tablecloths, towels, pillows, sheets, blankets, etc.

This is a theoretical and practical course at the same time, aimed at those who wish to learn the basic knowledge of weaving in 4 heddles. Theoretical because you learn from the lexicon to how to put on paper an armor, to read the re-adjustments and how to interpret them. Practical because you switch from pen to thread, from paper to frame. You learn how to arrange the warp on the warping machine, dress the loom through the re-fitting and the wrapping, you learn to weave not only by mechanically inserting the spool but to manage tensions, re-enter and repair broken wires.

This course does not propose itself as the ultimate goal of obtaining finished products BUT making samples and touching different techniques.

The program is as follows:
- Cannelloni 20 x 20 cm, 4 hours. Rid. 4
- Saia 20 × 20 cm, 4 hours. Cotton in warp and wool in the plot. Rid. 4
- Saia with color effect 20 x 20 cm, color effect technique. 3 hours. Cotton and wool. Rid. 4
- via the rose 20 x 20 cm, cotton and wool. Rid. 8
- via the pink bolow weave 20 x 20 cm, cotton and wool and silk. Rid. 8

Group course

Why a group course: suitable for those who want to share the same passion with more people and so stimulated to see different dexterities at work. Also suitable for those without time problems and those who want to spend a little less.

When: the dates are fixed and can not be changed during construction. The course lasts 3 consecutive days, 24 hours total (from 9.00 to 13.00 / from 14.00 to 18.00). The course calendar is at the bottom of the "Courses" page.

Where is it: in the weaving workshop in via delle Scuole 16 in Luserna San Giovanni (Turin).

With which frame: the sampling frame 25 cm.

Conditions: you must book your presence by paying € 100 on the current account. The sum will be refunded in case of cancellation by the student three days before the course.
The course will take place with a minimum of two students.

Discounts: who buys, at the end of the course and not later, any frame of the company "Salusso" will be refunded the entire sum of the rent and will enjoy a discount of 7% on the list price of the frame in question.

Cost of the course: € 315 + VAT
The cost of the course includes: 24 hours (11 € + VAT per hour) + the reimbursement of the price of yarns used for € 39 + VAT, the rent of the sampling frame for three days at € 12 + VAT

Individual Course

Why the individual course: suitable for all those who prefer to have specific attention or do not have the ability to follow schedules chosen a priori by others.

When: the dates and times are to be agreed with the teacher by setting an ad hoc timetable.

Where is it: in the weaving workshop in via delle Scuole 16 in Luserna San Giovanni (Turin) or at home, agreeing in this case the additional costs for travel and accommodation.
Conditions: it is not necessary to pay on the current account for the reservation.

With which frame: the 25 cm sample frame, or on another 4 heddle frame, redefining the timing and costs of the yarns slightly.

Discounts: who buys, at the end of the course and not later, any frame of the company "Salusso" will be refunded the entire sum of the rent and will enjoy a discount of 7% on the list price of the frame in question.

Cost of the course: € 436 + VAT
The cost of the course includes: 24 hours of course at € 16 + VAT per hour on three consecutive days
(from 9.00 to 13.00 / from 14.00 to 18.00), the reimbursement of yarns used for € 39 + VAT, rental of the sampling frame for three days at € 12 + VAT.
