The table loom
with levers is versatile, robust and great both for professionals and expert amateurs. Available with 4, 6 or 8 heddles. Proposed in 60 cm and 80 cm versions
Technical specifications:
Evaporated beechwood finished with a solution of waxes and vegetable oils. Suitable to equip up to height heddles.
The 20.5 cm long nylon heddles are set in a wooden framework.
The shed is created by lifting thanks to comfortable hand levers placed on the front of the loom: by lowering the lever the framework of the heddle rises; you can control more levers simultaneously. Special brass bushings will considerably slow down the wear of the Texsolv rope due to friction.
The fabric advances by wrapping facilitated by practical wooden flywheels. The brake system is a ratchet. The octagonal beams in solid wood are 5 cm in diameter. The crossbeam and the sides of the loom are snap-fit and joined with a screw tenon while the sides have a mortise and tenon joint with a wooden nail.
The reed set in the swinging beater guarantees a perfect beating.
On the rear of the loom there is a handy warping frame that enables a maximum length of 935 cm in the 80 cm version and of 276 cm in the 60 cm one.
