Nomade
Like the nomadic loom to which it is inspired, Nomade
is easy to assemble and dismantle even with the cloth in progress. Portable, cheap and able to load a long warp, Nomade is appreciated by those who have transport needs or little free space at home. When put away it takes up a minimal amount of space. Without a rigid structure, Nomade is a "non-loom" or, better, a parasitic loom that needs to hold on to an external element to be able to work and from which its functioning depends.
Nomade
is a little more slower and uncomfortable to use than the other looms dressed with the tubular rigid heddle of this catalogue. But once you will get the hang of it, Nomade will give you everything that the other tubular rigid heddle looms have to offer.
Just like all the other looms that use the tubular rigid heddle, also Nomade
is compatible with the small heddles.
Features:
Beech wood finished with vegetable oils and waxes. The fabric advances by winding and the warp tension is weight-adjustable. The loom is overall composed by the tubular rigid heddle, two beams and two clamps to attach it to a table that work both as supports for the front beam and as a warper.
Available in two versions respectively of 50 and 60 cm.
